Setting out to escape insomnia, hunger, and self-doubt. Three seals embarked on a journey about themselves. Drawn frame by frame in Procreate, the film embraces its rough edges, finding tenderness in imperfection.

“Three Seals” is a short animated film completed in July 2025 by Three Seals Studio.

The film initial project was made from a piece Three seals story by me at an exhibition in Crete, Greece at the workshop @periplusworkshops

Whether life’s everyday rhythms continue with uncertainty is a question this film asks, abstracting it into the journey of the three seals.
“Three Seals” was created as a look at vulnerability and the inner hardships that shape our daily lives. During the creation process, I didn’t choose polished visuals or complex animation techniques. Each frame was drawn by hand in Procreate Dream, which makes the film appear somewhat rough. But this roughness feels essential, it preserves a sense of honesty, of something handmade, intimate, and close to the quiet rhythm of emotion itself.
